- Sarah’s Energy Efficiency Retrofit Project
Speakers:
Melanie Lupis is an environmental enthusiast, nature lover and mum. She works as a Home Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Consultant heading up her own company Sustainability Certified. She has a Bachelor of Science (Hons), is a NatHERS Accredited Assessor, Passive House Certified Consultant and Residential Efficiency Scorecard Assessor. Melanie provides in-home assessments for existing homeowners looking to retrofit for energy efficiency and also works with homeowners, designers and architects to build thermal comfort and energy efficiency into the design of new builds and renovations.
Sarah Aubrey is one of Australia’s top voice actors. She was the voice of Channel 7 for 15 years, won Best Actress at Tropfest in 2002 and has voiced countless commercials and animations, including Happy Feet 2. Sarah has a keen interest in electric cars and became interested in home electrification after reading Saul Griffiths Rewiring Australia. After getting her home assessed by Sustainability Certified she wanted to improve her low Residential Efficiency Scorecard rating of 2.9 stars. After full electrification and several thermal improvements she now lives in a 10 star home.
