Energy Matters: Beat the heat & kill the chill - CoW Sustainable Communities Workshop Series

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

This no-cost, online workshop is the seventh in the City of Whittlesea's Sustainable Communities Workshop Series

With the rising costs of utilities and extremes in climate, many of us are looking at ways to reduce our bills while still doing our part for the environment. Join sustainable educator, Anna The Urban Nanna, to learn about simple, budget-friendly ways to reduce your energy footprint.

Whether you live in a rental or in your own property this workshop will include room-by-room checklists to help you assess where your home could do with some attention, and a follow-up resource list with details on initiatives available to City of Whittlesea residents.

The CoW Sustainable Communities Workshop Series aims to up-skill City of Whittlesea community members in the art of sustainable, climate-resilient living and community-building.

Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions to be entered into a prize drawing at the series' end. Every workshop participant will also receive a certificate of recognition for their participation and have the opportunity to share their learnings and creations at the celebration showcase in November 2023.

Contact lisa.conley@whittlesea.vic.gov.au with questions or to view the full series schedule.

The City of Whittlesea Council acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live, the Wurundjeri Willum Clan and Taungurung Peoples and we pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
