Affordable Housing community forum
Event description
Everyone in the Shire needs a home. But a growing number of people in lower-paid jobs struggle to find one, with a lack of available homes to rent. Come along and urge our politicians at all levels of government to solve our housing crisis before it further traumatises our community.
Join us on Tuesday evening 1st Nov at 7pm for a community forum on affordable housing in the Shire: what, why, and how much? Who needs it, how do you qualify and who decides? What role do Sutherland Council Local and State Government play, and what has been achieved since the elections last year?Â
