Practical Workshop SUNDAY FEB 18th 2024. @ Coimadai Park

We'll be covering some basic principles of positive engagement and management of reactive dogs (e.g. building predictable behaviour loops, recognising when the handler needs to increase or decrease arousal to maintain engagement, managing space and visual access to triggers etc) and practicing exercises to implement the principles in a managed and supportive environment (e.g. pattern games, basic defensive handling manoeuvres, using toy and social play for increasing engagement). 

We will wait until we know who our dog and handler teams are before we narrow down specifics, so that we can tailor it to their/their dogs' skill levels and needs.  The day is very interactive for everyone attending. (Dogs, their Humans & Human auditors too!
