FREE training session: Engaging students and young people as volunteers

In recognition of SA Youth Week, the department of Human Services SA, in partnership with Northern Volunteering SA, Southern Volunteering SA and Volunteering SA & NT are delivering training to encourage young people to volunteer.

If you're wondering how you can broaden your volunteer recruitment drive then this session will help you understand:

1. 1. who we're talking about when we say students and young people
2. 2. what they're looking for
3. 3. barriers to participation
4. 4. how they currently contribute
5. 5. tips for consideration

This two-hour training is for anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding about the qualities of young people and identify the barriers and opportunities to their volunteer engagement.

All participants who complete this training will receive a Certificate of Participation
