Engineer Your Best Self: How to Discover Your Core Values - Workshop

    This event has passed Register

    Event description

You spend 40 hours (maybe more) at your job every week. Work takes up a significant space in your life- over 1/3 of it in fact! Because of that, the culture and experiences you have at your place of work impacts you holistically - your morale, productivity, and your happiness.

Spending all day ingrained in a culture that doesn’t resemble you and your core values can drain your energy and enthusiasm, not only for your job, but also for other aspects of your life. When your work aligns with your personal core values, it can help you find meaning in what you do daily at your job. Your career can and will have a deeper meaning.

Your core values are the things that matter most in your life. They're like your internal compass and give your life purpose and meaning. They provide clarity and help you make decisions. When your values match the way you think, speak and behave, you feel whole and content. When they don’t, you feel misaligned and as if someone else is in the driver's seat for you. Which likely makes you feel uneasy, restless and unfulfilled.

If you’ve recently struggled to find meaning in your work or in other aspects of your life, this workshop is for you! Join us as we help you take a deeper look into your core values, and help you find that spark in your job and in your life

Join Women in Transportation Seminar (WTS), Women & Hi Tech (W&HT), Indy Women in Tech (IndyWIT), and Society of Women Engineers - Central Indiana (SWE-CI) as we partner with BestSelf co. to bring you a workshop dedicated to helping you discover or reinforce your core values so you can live a life of purpose, meaning, and intentionality.
