Engineering in a Day 2026

High school students in Years 10 and 11 are invited to spend a hands-on, immersive day with the School of Engineering at Macquarie University.

This program offers students a unique opportunity to explore how engineers tackle real-world challenges through creativity and innovation. Participants will take part in interactive workshops, tour our cutting-edge facilities, and learn directly from our passionate engineers.

Throughout the day, students will:

• Connect with like-minded peers who share a passion for STEM

• Hear from senior lecturers, current undergraduate students, and PhD researchers

• Gain insights into the many exciting career paths available in engineering and the sciences
