Enhance accountability in group work with FeedbackFruits
Event description
Former workshop title: Use a FeedbackFruits Group Member Evaluation
Let students evaluate their group members. This feedback improves students' group work skills, and protects students from non-contributing teammates (via grade adjustment).
Students evaluate their group members, such as their level of contribution and communication skills. Students can do this by filling out a rubric and/or providing comments. This process is optionally anonymous. If you like, this feedback can affect students' grades, either automatically (using a formula you control) or manually (as staff go through students' feedback). In this workshop, you will work through the process of setting up a FeedbackFruits Group Member Evaluation, configuring its grading, and seeing it from a student’s perspective.
Want students to review each other's assignment drafts? If so, you'll need FeedbackFruits Peer Review, not FeedbackFruits Group Member Evaluation. We run a separate workshop for FeedbackFruits Peer Review.

Testimonials
"I went to this workshop to get an idea of how Feedback Fruits worked from an instructor and a student perspective, for potential use in new AU courses. It was really helpful." -Participant from School of Public Health.
"Alexi was very clear in the information they shared and was very flexible with tailoring the session for the needs of the attendees. Thank you." -Participant from Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology.
"It was really great to have a short, to the point workshop that told me exactly how to do what I wanted to do. Alexi was clear and well-prepared, and importantly, knew the software very well. I was alerted to hidden implications that would definitely have caused problems if I'd proceeded on my own." -Participant from Social Sciences.
