Event description
Kick off the summer holidays with Ensemble Explorers, an exciting hands-on music workshop with Nexas Quartet! This program gives students of all instruments the chance to learn from professional musicians, develop their ensemble skills, and perform in a short concert.
Instruments included:
drums, guitars, trumpets, trombone, euphonium, tuba, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, recorder
Thursday will be meet and make new friends whilst learning some musical ensemble skills:
Morning tutorials (10:00am – 12:00pm)
Lunch break (12:00pm – 12:45pm)
Ensemble sessions & rehearsals (12:45pm – 3:00pm)
Friday includes:
Morning tutorials with Nexas professionals (10:00am – 12:00pm)
Lunch break (12:00pm – 12:45pm)
Ensemble sessions & rehearsals (12:45pm – 2:45pm)
Student concert (3:00pm – 3:30pm) showcasing pieces prepared during the day
After the program concludes feel free to stick around for the Nexas’ evening concert at 5:30pm on 17 January.
