Live Koto Japanese table harp with vocal improvisations like you’ve never experienced it before.

About:
Otolithia is an experimental, ambient, and improvisational duo featuring Tatiana Musique and Josh Faber-Hammond. Their project blends live world instrumentation with electronics to create hypnotic and sometimes transcendental experiences for both themselves and audiences. Their name is a fusion of the words ‘otolith’, referring to an evolutionarily conserved ear bone by which vertebrates take in sound from the world around them, and ‘lithia’, or lithium-containing water, which has been shown to reduce depression and stabilize moods for those who drink it regularly.

Josh has been playing in-house Koto ambience for us throughout the winter on Sundays. This is not informal Koto ambience and distinct from our Sunday offering. This is a unique performance of the musical project Otolithia he shares with the ethereal vocal improvisations of Tatiana Musique. 

Tickets include performance with tea offered throughout the night. The tea is selected to supplement, support and deepen the embodied listening experience of the performance at hand.

Doors will open promptly at 8pm. This is a very intimate setting with a small capacity seating, kindly time your arrival so as not to disturb the performance by arriving late.
