Join us for Entre's Annual Launch Night!

Ideas that change the world.

Join us for our Annual Launch Night, an evening of networking and inspiring stories where we celebrate the impact Entre and our alumni make in the world.

Entre brings together the past and present students of Ōtautahi who are driving change and developing impactful ideas for a better future.

This year, we're featuring Entre alumni, who will be sharing their stories of making an impact in the world, and how Entre provided the starting point for making it all happen:

Jack Wood - Komodo Wellbeing - enhancing student wellbeing across the globe; 

Ben Scales - Kiwifibre - winners of the 2022 Icehouse First Cut Winners and 2022 KiwiNet Awards for their work in revolutionising the composites industry using natural fibres;

Rohan Mathias - FoodFuse - winners of our 2022 Napkin Challenge who've gone onto further develop their venture as winners of our 2022 Enterprise Challenge and participants in the acclaimed Food and Fibre Agritech Challenge and Orion Energy Accelerator programmes; 

Saskia van der Peet - Real Girls of Tech - on a mission to empower the future generation of women in tech via Real Girls in Tech and is co-founder of Avium/Farmgate Foods.

Guy Horrocks

Our Keynote Speaker - Guy Horrocks:

Guy Horrocks career in tech started at UC when he won the 2006 Entre Entrepreneurial Award for his first start up, a company which used software to analyse blood splatter at crime scenes. Guy established the world’s first iPhone app company Polar Bear Farm in 2007 before making the move to New York with his mobile agency Carnival Labs. Guy’s impressive CV includes clients like DreamWorks, Coca-Cola, CNN and Sephora, and his skills and expertise in growing digital businesses have led to his appointment as independent director at NZME and New Zealand Mint. Known for his ‘Flat White Meetups’ hosting Kiwi entrepreneurs in New York, Guy is back in New Zealand with his most recent startup, Solve, tackling customer data management.
