Entrepreneurship in the MakerSpace

We'll begin with an overview of the Harrison County MakerSpace and explore other local MakerSpaces and fabrication resources available throughout the region. You'll learn what equipment they offer, how to access them, and how to choose the right space for your projects.

From there, we'll dive into the fundamentals of building a small maker business. Topics include selecting products, production planning, pricing for profit, selling online and in person, marketing, customer service, and avoiding common startup mistakes. We'll also discuss how to grow from a hobby into a sustainable side business without investing thousands of dollars in equipment.
