Entropic Hope - Fergus Bailey and The Teeth Single Launch
Event description
Chapter 1 is out soon. Help start the story on September 15.
Fergus Bailey and The Teeth’s first single “Entropic Hope” off their second album comes out August 25th, and they’re heading to Petersham Bowlo with friends Stunt Double and Warwick Kennedy and The Strangers to launch it. Tix are $15, doors at 8.
“Entropic Hope,” is the opening song of the album, introducing the album’s themes and protagonist. Both the song and album explore themes of anxiety, depression, heartbreak, and modern existentialism, coherently blending the two staples of the band’s sounds: classic songwriting, and the full history of left-field rock. The music and lyrics are frantic, anxious, and energetic, with band and protagonist desperate and defiant.
Joining us are Stunt Double and Warwick Kennedy and The Strangers.
Stunt Double, formerly Will Armstrong & band, make indie rock music. New name, same sound, their new single “Problems” is out on all major streaming platforms.
Warwick Kennedy And The Strangers return with a new live band and a set of new material. Their live set blends the earnest qualities of classic Australian singer songwriters with the chaotic urgency of contemporary post punk.
