Join us for an encore screening of Documentary Australia’s Environmental Accelerator Film Festival, available free and online from 18-27 July with our friends at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), and supported by Intrepid Travel. The festival showcases seven program-supported documentaries, including The Giants, Delikado, Rachel’s Farm, Greenhouse by Joost, Climate Changers, Stay Tuned To Our Planet, and new release, White Rock.

Learn from Bob Brown and his mission to protect our precious ecosystems; Tata Balladares and environmental land defenders in the Philippines; Rachel Ward and her journey to adopt sustainable farming practices; zero-waste icon Joost Bakker and his story of building a self-sustaining home; Tim Flannery and the climate leaders he encounters around the world; YouTuber Mat McKenna who spotlights everyday climate actions for young people to get involved; and Damon Gameau who uncovers the explosion of long-spined sea urchins devastating Australia’s kelp forests.
As part of the festival, join us for an online panel and Q&A White Rock: Safeguarding Australia's kelp forests at 12pm AEST on 22 July. White Rock filmmakers and scientists Stefan Andrews and Dr Scott Bennett, and special guests, will discuss the urgent need to address the explosion of long-spined sea urchins devastating Australia’s kelp forests. The festival aims to increase awareness and action on a range of pressing environmental issues by using documentary as a tool to create change, supported by Intrepid Travel.
