Environmental Health Impacts of Wood Pellet Manufacturing in Gloster, Mississippi
Event description
Brown University and Tougaloo College students currently enrolled in Rural Public Health (PHP1725) will share their findings from their semester-long project investigating the impacts of wood pellet manufacturing air and noise emissions on the health and well-being of Gloster, a small rural town in Mississippi. We have worked alongside our community partner, Greater Greener Gloster.
The event is FREE and is open to the public.
TIME: 6 pm - 7:15 pm EST or 5 pm - 6:15 pm CST
