ENVISAGE

ENVISAGE is an online strengths-based parenting program fully-funded by the Australian Government for parents and carers raising children with disability, delay and Autism.

Developed in collaboration with parents, professionals and researchers. Not only is ENVISAGE based on evidence and best-practice approaches, importantly, it provides you with the essential knowledge and practical skills to support your child’s development while ensuring your family thrives.

Dates

The program is delivered online over 5 weeks.

Session 1: Tuesday 15 October; 1pm - 2.30pm (SA TIME)/1.30pm - 3pm (NSW TIME)

Session 2: Tuesday 22 October; 1pm - 2.30pm (SA TIME)/1.30pm - 3pm (NSW TIME)

Session 3: Tuesday 29 October; 1pm - 2.30pm (SA TIME)/1.30pm - 3pm (NSW TIME)

Session 4: Tuesday 5 November; 1pm - 2.30pm (SA TIME)/1.30pm - 3pm (NSW TIME)

Session 5: Tuesday 12 November; 1pm - 2.30pm (SA TIME)/1.30pm - 3pm (NSW TIME)

To use your child’s strengths and interests to support their development
Foster a sense of belonging for your child
Build collaborative relationships with therapists and healthcare professionals
Prioritise what is important to your family
Increase the well-being of your child and your entire family

Who is this event for

ENVISAGE Families is a program for parents and caregivers raising children with developmental concerns, disability, delay and autism aged 0-8. Your child doesn’t need a diagnosis to access ENVISAGE.
If you are a professional working with children, there is an ENVISAGE-Service Providers program. Please email sp.envisage@mcri.edu.au for further details.

Who will be facilitating the workshops

Sessions will be facilitated by two trained professionals

A parent-peer facilitator from Kindred, who has lived experience raising a child with disability
An early childhood professional

Sessions are delivered online via Zoom. Instructions will be emailed to you prior to the event.
You will also receive emails from the team ENVISAGE to prepare you for the workshop.
