Envisioning Peace Concert + Song, Sound & Breath Workshop

Beloved mantra teacher and musician Nadav Kahn and Classical & Jazz singer/songwriter Sophia Tuv are joining forces for a unique collaboration,  bringing two special offerings to Sydney on the 15th of June. 

Song, Sound & Breath Workshop: This class is an invitation to learn and practice a selection of tools to harness and reclaim our voices as a powerful instrument for meditation, connection, prayer and inner healing. Sophia and Nadav will draw on ancient modalities, sounds, wordless melodies, breathing techniques, chanting and prayers from the Sanskrit and Hebrew sacred cannon as pathways to reclaim a path home to the self with the breath as our guide. 

Hearing our own voices sometimes feels uncomfortable or may even scare us, but participating in communal singing in a safe space is a remarkable way to face and process the layers of self that we long to integrate. These practices are designed to stimulate the vagus nerve (activating the parasympathetic nervous system), which is responsible for feeling safe and held in our bodies and the world. All welcome and no singing experience is required. 

Envisioning Peace Concert: Join Sophia and Nadav for a stirring musical performance and guided collective singing focused on peace and healing. This is the first time Nadav and Sophia will be bringing their voices and vast experience in duet form, offering songs in Hebrew and English. An uplifting heart space will be created.
