What is Unspeakable?

Unspeakable is a groundbreaking documentary that confronts the epidemic of sexual violence in Australia, boldly re-examining the wider culture of sexuality.

Our mission is to create a dialogue around consent and sexual liberation for victim-survivors and for those seeking to change harmful behaviours.

Unspeakable acknowledges that the definition of sexual liberation is fundamentally redefined through the lens of victim-survivors. With a focus on empowerment and healing, the film asks, with nuance and inquiry, what we truly need to liberate? Unspeakable calls for a new movement of sexual liberation—one that restores agency to survivors from the ground up.

Accessibility

The event space has a ramp and a wide entry that is wheelchair accessible.

The doorway to the bathrooms are narrow, accessible by ramp however the cubicle is narrow, typically not wide enough for wheelchair access with no handrail.

There will be masks on site, lighting will be dim with warm tones through the space.

There are several seating options including low and high stools and we can provide chairs with backs
