Emily Tulloch, Maryam Rahmani & Caoimhe Collins bring their Harrigans Lane CoLab residency to a close with an intimate concert celebrating music, poetry, and place.

Working on Kaurna country (Adelaide) since 2024, these three artists have woven their distinct traditions — art music, Persian classical, and Irish folk — into a shared, improvisation-led practice shaped by the natural world and the landscapes they inhabit. Join them for an evening of original music forged where three deep-rooted traditions meet.

About the Artists

Caoimhe Collins is an Irish cellist and vocalist with a passion for stories spun by melodies and rhythms. She has busked through villages and cities across Europe and Australia, performed at festivals, and worked with dancers, puppets, and landscape in compositional projects. Now based in Kaurna country|Adelaide, she collaborates with a diverse community of artists and is captivated by the open possibilities of improvisation.

Emily Tulloch is a violinist, composer, and community instigator. For 15 years a member of Zephyr Quartet, she helped create critically acclaimed, award-winning shows performed internationally and across Australia. As an independent artist she is currently working on cross-artform projects across visual art, performance, theatre, and dance.

Maryam Rahmani is an Iranian-born santur player whose music draws from Persian classical tradition and poetry. Since moving to Australia, she has performed with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and Adelaide Baroque and taken part in residencies including the Australian Art Orchestra Creative Music Intensive and Soundweaving in Banff.
