Epic Back to School Open House Expo-Lawton

You do not want to miss the 2024-2025 Back to School Expo series! The Epic Family Engagement Department is planning our Back to School Open House events at locations throughout the state. We will have various Epic departments available to answer your questions, informative parent and caregiver breakout sessions, and engaging student sessions. NEW and UPDATED information will be shared, so these will be helpful for both new and veteran Epic families!

What to Expect:

• Learn about new programs, initiatives, clubs, and more that will be launched this year.
• Families will leave with tools and materials to empower them as the 2024-2025 school year begins.
• Topics include AI (Artificial Intelligence), SpEd, Extracurriculars, Tips for Success, "New to Epic" Guidance, Grade Level Breakouts, and much more.
• Health screenings.

Schedule:

• 11:00-12:30: Engage with many Epic department reps on-site.
• 11:00-1:00: Dental (fluoride treatments), hearing, and vision screenings. Sports Physicals (no cost, no insurance needed).
• 12:30: General session & student breakout sessions (PreK-12th) begin.
• 3:00: Expo ends.

We will give away Swag Bags (while supplies last) and Door Prizes!

Additional Information:

• Students will participate in FUN & INTERACTIVE grade-level classes while parents/guardians are in adult breakout sessions.
• Each attendee must register with a unique name to avoid duplicate registrations.
• To get the most out of the expo, families should bring a laptop or iPad, have their students’ login information, and parent PowerSchool login. Have your student's Epic ID ready for registration.

Students cannot be dropped off to attend an Expo without a parent or guardian. 

MEDIA: This is a public event, and photographs and or video may be taken during the activity. Please let our Epic staff know during check-in if you would prefer that your student not be photographed or videoed.

CANCELLATIONS: As a reminder, if you sign up to come but are unable to make it, please cancel your reservation using your Humanitix confirmation email. This will open up spots for other families.

1. Go to Humanitix Confirmation Email
2. Click on "Manage Order"
3. Click "Refund/Cancel"
4. Select ALL or manually select the tickets you need to cancel
5. Click the "Review" button
6. Click the "Confirm" button
   

Inclement Weather Plan: If we have inclement weather, we will send out communication by email through Humanitix to let you know if the expo has been canceled.
