We will facilitate conversations and meaningful connections to build your confidence, communication skills and help you to realise that you're not alone in this journey.

Natalie, a Career Counsellor and Communications Trainer at Jobspeak Academy will share strategies to help you confidently showcase your skills and value as an overseas professional. Learn Australian networking etiquette and discover how to make meaningful connections while staying authentic.

✨ Strategies for Mental Wellbeing

Fernanda, a Psychologist and Counsellor, will provide practical strategies to manage nerves, stay balanced, and build mental resilience as a migrant. Participate in mindful breathing exercises to help you feel grounded in stressful times.

What to Expect:

- We will start the session with introductions from our facilitators and a small presentation to help you navigate the networking event; you will be guided on a breathing exercise, and learn how to communicate effectively and use expressions for polite and impactful networking in Australia, while staying true to yourself and embracing your unique culture

- There will be opportunities to join in different supportive discussions in break-out rooms where a facilitator will support you and you will get the opportunity to meet other amazing migrant women in Australia.

- The final 15-20 minutes will be for communication feedback and a Q&A
