Join us for an empowering and interactive networking event for migrant women in Australia, Let's celebrate the strength, resilience, and potential of migrant women in Australia. 

This special 90-minute session is designed to foster community connections, personal and professional growth, and self-acceptance with the support of 3 professionals.  We will facilitate conversations and meaningful connections to build your confidence, communication skills and help you to realise that you're not alone in this journey.

Fernanda, a Psychologist and Counsellor, will provide practical strategies to manage nerves, stay balanced, and build mental resilience as a migrant. Participate in mindful breathing exercises to help you feel grounded in stressful times.

The theme for this years International Women's Day is Accelerate Action, so let's join together. 

  • Meet other migrant women in Australia to build your community and feel less alone in your journey.
  • Build your English communication skills in a supportive environment.
  • Learn about Australian networking etiquette and communication expectations.
  • Learn how to integrate into Australian society without losing your cultural identity. 

What to Expect:

- We will start the session with introductions from our facilitators and a small presentation to help you navigate the networking event; you will be guided on a breathing exercise, and learn how to communicate effectively and use expressions for polite and impactful networking in Australia, while staying true to yourself and embracing your unique culture

- There will be opportunities to join in different supportive discussions in break-out rooms where a facilitator will support you and you will get the opportunity to meet other amazing migrant women in Australia.

- The final 15-20 minutes will be for communication feedback and a Q&A 

Let’s come together to amplify our voices, build confidence, and create a supportive community where everyone belongs.
