This workshop is designed specifically for horse owners - to assist them in developing a more sustainable property that benefits owners, horses, and the environment.

Event details:

Join South East Local Land Services for a workshop designed for horse owners on small to medium-sized properties.

Participants will learn key concepts for managing horse properties more sustainably.

The workshop will focus on the health and well-being of horses and examine:

grazing behaviour of horses
grazing management of horses
steps to creating more sustainable properties to support healthy horses
practical solutions to common problems faced by horse owners.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have a clear understanding of small changes they can make to strengthen land management skills and build soil and pasture health.
