In pain or being a pain?
An Interactive Professional Development Workshop for Veterinarians, Veterinary Nurses and Equine Physiotherapists
When a horse presents with an unwanted behaviour, from aggression to bucking, reluctance to go forwards to just generally appearing unhappy, how do we differentiate clinical pain from a behaviour problem? This workshop will consist of a series of lectures and discussion from specialist veterinary surgeons working in the fields of behavioural medicine, orthopaedics, and internal medicine, followed by an interactive case discussion.
- This professional development opportunity is aimed at veterinarians and veterinary nurses
- ISES members who are attending the ISES annual conference are also welcome to attend
- Numbers are limited and tickets will be allocated on a first-come-first-in basis (ISES attendees limited to 28, then waitlisted)
Cost:
- Veterinarians, veterinary nurses and equine physiotherapists: $80 (limited to 25 places)
- ISES members attending the ISES annual conference: Free (limited to 25 places)
