FAQs

• What time does the event start?

  The event runs from 10:30am to 4:00pm for General Admission.

  VIP and VIP Plus ticket holders may enter from 10:00am.

  Afternoon Only ticket holders may enter from 1:30pm.

• What is included in the Afternoon Only ticket?

  The Afternoon Only ticket is a no-frills ticket which allows you to enter from 1:30pm.

  It does not include any goody bags, and no entry into any panel and/or workshop.

  To access panel/workshop, you must have at least a General Admission ticket.

• What is the difference between tickets?

  General Admission: Full-day entry, GA goody bag.

  VIP: Early entry (10am), VIP goody bag, plus access to ONE panel OR workshop.

  VIP Plus: Early entry (10am), VIP goody bag, plus access to ALL panels and workshop.

  Afternoon Only: Entry from 1:30pm, no goody bag, no panels/workshops.

• Do I need to register for a panel or workshop?

  Yes.

  VIP: includes ONE session. You’ll receive an email to choose your panel or workshop session closer to the event.

  VIP Plus: includes access to ALL panel and workshop sessions.

  Spots are limited and you MUST book in your spot, regardless of ticket tier.

  GA and VIP can add on an extra panel or workshop ticket.

• Are Goody Bags included with all tickets?

  GA goody bags are included with General Admission.

  VIP goody bags are included for VIP and VIP Plus tickets.

  Afternoon Only tickets do not include a goody bag.

• Will there be authors and vendors selling books and merch?

  Yes. There will be signing authors and bookish vendors, with books and merchandise available to purchase directly at the event.

  Card preferred for efficiency, but some of our authors and vendors will accept cash.

• Can I bring books from home to get signed?

  Yes, you are welcome to bring books from home for our Special Guest Authors.

  As for our attending authors, please check individual author signing policies closer to the event - though we know most would be happy to sign books from home.

• Is the event suitable for children?

  ERA is designed for older teens and adults, not children. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We strongly recommend our event for ages 18+.

  Babies and toddlers under 3 are welcome to attend, no ticket needed; however, please be aware that some books, discussions, and merchandise may contain mature themes intended for adult audiences. Guests with prams will need to use the accessible entrance with lift.

  To help create a comfortable environment for all attendees, we have asked authors and vendors to keep explicit materials and displays discreet where possible.

• Will there be food and drinks available?

  There will be no food or drinks available to purchase onsite, however we do have a vegan treats vendor, Third Circle Bakery.

  We will also have a water dispenser available for attendees at the front lobby.

• Is the venue accessible?

  Yes. The venue is wheelchair accessible and has accessible restrooms, lifts, and ramps. There will be a separate entrance, but we will be there to guide you and welcome you all the same and ensure proper signage.

  If you will be using a wheelchair or scooter, please e-mail us so we can prepare for your arrival.

  Please note: if you are bringing a trolley cart for your books, we will have concierge bring them into the venue, however on exit, you must use the lift.
