Our erosion and sediment control course will provide participants with a suite of best practice procedures for erosion, sediment and drainage control on construction and building sites in accordance with the requirements of the International Erosion Control Association Australasia.

How to select the most appropriate temporary drainage, erosion and sediment control measures for your site.
Key steps in the development of erosion and sediment control plans.
Model codes of practice: General construction, building sites and installation of services.
Potential erosion hazard of a work site.
Typical development approval conditions, for use in the management of land-disturbing activities.
Site inspection checklists to ensure appropriate site management and compliance in accordance with erosion and sediment control plans.

Participants will develop skills in application of:

site planning checklists
the iAuditor tool
detailed checklist for assessing erosion and sediment control plans.

Consulting engineers responsible for planning erosion and sediment control plans for construction sites.
Development assessment officers responsible for compliance assessment of erosion and sediment control plans (formerly referred to as soil erosion and drainage management plans).
Local and state government project managers/site supervisors responsible for construction supervision.
