ABOUT ARTIST - BRENDA STACE CHAT
Artist statement
Brenda Stace Chat is a multidisciplinary artist living in Cowra and draws on the refuse of unwanted pianos to create sculptural paintings. Her approach to artmaking is considered and careful, akin to the care she invests in her home studio and garden, located on Wiradjuri Country in Cowra NSW. A stalwart to the local arts community, Brenda is passionate about connecting with other creatives and enjoys challenging her own practice by engaging in new mediums and cross-disciplinary artforms.
