Beyond Survival: Strategic Planning for Limestone Coast Wine Producers

The Limestone Coast Grape and Wine Council is pleased to welcome Maggie Jarrett to the region to present some of her research as a Nuffield Scholar on Environmental, Social, Governance for the wine industry. This is an essential opportunity for growers and winemakers to learn more about the practical side of ESG (and sustainability more broadly) in the Limestone Coast. To complement this perpsective, we are also pleased to welcome Julian Marchant from Wine Australia, who also works actively within the ESG space! No two presenters will be better positioned in Australia right now to outline some of the new and emerging changes within the ESG for the Limestone Coast wine industry.

Growers and producers who are unable to attend in person are welcome to submit their questions about any aspect of ESG to be raised on the day and clarified later. Maggie Jarrett will be visiting a number of producers in the Limestone Coast region on the Tuesday and Wednesday before the event, and if you'd like to meet with her personally to discuss your questions, please reach out to the Executive Officer of the Limestone Coast Grape and Wine Council asap.

While active engagement is strongly encouraged (and some resources will be precirculated), the whole event is designed to be calibrated to the specific concerns of producers in the Limestone Coast region. All participants will therefore be encouraged to take the opportunity to shape the substantive direction of the discussion in advance of the event.
