Essence of a Woman - Samford
Description
Essence of a Woman is a modern gathering rooted in an ancient idea: women coming together to speak, listen, and remember who we are.
Before books were analysed and theories debated, women shared stories. Around fires, at kitchen tables, while working with their hands. Stories about love, fear, desire, loss, power, intuition, motherhood, creativity, rage, softness, and change. These stories carried wisdom, not perfection.
This space is not about having the right answers. It is about honest conversation. We choose a topic each gathering and explore it together through reflection, discussion, and shared experience. No expertise required. Just curiosity, presence, and respect.
We believe there is an essence carried within all women, shaped by generations before us. When we gather and speak openly, something stirs. Insight deepens. Connection strengthens. We begin to recognise ourselves in one another.
Women aged 16+ are welcome, from those just beginning to explore who they are, to elders who carry lived wisdom. Intergenerational sharing is not a bonus here, it is essential.
Come as you are. Speak if you wish. Listen if you need.
This is a real in person group chat, not a performance.
Join us for conversation, connection, and the simple power of women gathering together again.
This Month's Topic
🌸 SPRING CLEANING — Making Space for What Matters
Spring cleaning is about more than tidying our homes. It's an invitation to pause and look at what we're holding onto — in our cupboards, our minds, our relationships and our lives.
This month, we're exploring home organisation, minimalism, emotional clutter, conscious consumption and the art of letting go. What do we really need? What no longer serves us? And what would we love to make more room for?
Together, we'll share ideas, question our habits and discover how creating space around us can help us create more space within us.
Because sometimes, making room for something new begins with letting something old go. 🌱
