Welcome to IDOL – Esteem Dance Company’s 18th Annual Concert!

For 18 years, our concert stage has been a place where young dancers grow in confidence, celebrate their achievements and create memories that last long after the final curtain.

This year, we celebrate IDOL – the people who inspire us.

An idol can be a legendary singer whose music defined a generation, a movie or television icon who captured our imagination, a dancer who made us want to move, or an artist whose creativity encouraged us to dream bigger. Sometimes our idols are people we admired as children; sometimes we discover them as adults. And sometimes, the greatest inspiration comes from someone much closer to home.

Throughout this concert, our dancers will pay tribute to icons past and present through music, movement and storytelling – celebrating the artists, performers and inspirational figures who have influenced generations.

From our tiniest dancers taking their first steps onto the stage to our senior students who have grown up at Esteem, IDOL is ultimately a celebration of inspiration – where it begins, how it shapes us, and how one day, we may inspire someone else.
