The English Speaking Union (QLD Branch) is hosting its second Public Speaking Workshop, for budding public speakers in Years 7-12 and teachers interested in developing their speaking craft further.Â
With a vision for equipping our next generation of leaders to use their voices with convincing, confident clarity, this Workshop will be packed with practical sessions from leading practitioners to support, enhance and develop public speaking skills.
Students and Teachers - $55 each (TICKETS ARE LIMITED and enrolments close 20th March 2024)
School Invoices are available - please email publicspeaking@esu.org.au FIRST to let us know which students or teachers should appear on your school's invoice, before enrolling through the event.Â

Session 1:Â Structuring your speech with persuasion - how to craft your most clear, persuasive speech
Session 2: Impromptu Speaking Round Robin - practical impromptu exercises to develop ‘on the spot’ confidence
Session 3: Crafting your storytelling skills to capture and keep your audience’s attention
Session 4: Pitch it! End the day with an ‘elevator pitch’ session to articulate and clarify your vision
