    Event description

The University of Sydney Business School's MBA Dimensions Program and Modern Slavery Unit invite you to explore the growing community expectations for business to act responsibly, address modern slavery links in their supply chains and alleviate poverty. The event will bring together speakers from business, advocacy, academia and civil society organisations to explore the question “Ethical fashion – fad or reality?”.

Following the panel discussion, attendees will be invited to browse and participate in a Fashion Swap hosted by the USYD Fashion Revolution Society, along with drinks and networking. If you would like to participate in the fashion swap, please bring any items with you to the event and drop it off to the USYD Fashion Revolution stall prior to the panel event.

*In response to the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2018, the University has established the Modern Slavery Unit, a dedicated expert team within the Office of the Provost and Deputy Vice Chancellor providing a University-wide strategic approach for addressing modern slavery and driving collaboration across government, business, civil society and academia to build the knowledge base and tools needed to generate transformative change.

**The USYD MBA Dimensions program is an initiative designed to connect MBAers and MBA Alumni with thought leaders from across the University of Sydney ecosystem. Split into three focus areas across the year - Dimensions of Leadership, Impactful Technology Trends and Amplifying Shared Value, these events are delivered in a series of face-to-face workshops and guest lectures. In the spirit of transdisciplinary learning, we invite a diverse range of academic and industry leaders to explore ways of thinking and societal trends.
