Ethics in Action
Description
Ethical and Sustainable Youth Work Practice
Youth work is deeply relational, rewarding, and complex — and navigating boundaries, ethics, and professional practice is more important than ever. This engaging one-day workshop will support youth workers to strengthen their understanding of the NSW Youth Work Code of Ethics and apply ethical decision-making to real-world practice scenarios.
Participants will also explore collective approaches to worker wellbeing through the work of Vikki Reynolds, including strategies to resist burnout, sustain hope, and strengthen connection within youth work teams and networks.
The day will also focus on identifying shared values that strengthen collaboration and accountability across the local youth interagency network.
