Ethics in AI - A Conversation
Description
Everyone is talking about artificial intelligence, at Mount Alvernia College, we're creating space to explore what it means for humanity, learning and the future.
As part of our Human Edge initiative, we invite parents/carers, students and staff to join a special Ethics in AI conversation, with student voices at the heart of the discussion. Together, we'll explore questions around:
Authenticity and academic integrity
Bias and fairness in AI
The future of work and learning
AI companions and relationships
Sustainability and environmental impact
Whether AI is truly intelligent, or simply predicting patterns
Most importantly, we'll hear from the people whose future will be shaped most by these technologies: our students.
