    Event description

    This is a listing for two SEPERATE CE events: Ethics & Burnout and Finding Hope (on SI prevention). These are in-person CE trainings, with 3 avaiable CE hours EACH. When you purchase tickets, you have the option of purchasing either training for $80/training OR $140 for both. 

    Learning Objectives for "Ethics of Burnout"

    Participants will have the ability to

    • Summarize burnout and provide examples of how the symptoms could manifest
    • Recognize how their code of ethics defines the concept of burnout
    • Describe how burnout can impact client care
    • Explain why burnout prevention and recovery are ethical obligations for both the provider and the employer

    Learning Objectives for "Finding Hope"

    Participants will be able to:

      • Explain the relationship between trauma and suicidality
      • Outline appropriate assessment and safety planning steps for this population
      • List trauma-informed prevention and coping skills to implement with clients

    CE Credit Available: 3 CE hours for EACH training, 6 CE hours if taking both. CE requirements vary by license type. Please check with your licensing board to be sure about the requirements and if this type is approved for you. Abundant Hope Therapy is a NBCC ACEP (No. 7477)

    About the Presenter: Katie Casey, LPC-MHSP (TN #4175), has been in the field for over 10 years. Through various experiences within inpatient, short and long-term residential settings, rehabs, and outpatient settings, Katie has honed her specialties to working with those with complex trauma, helping professionals, and those with chronic pain and illness. Additionally, Katie has used EMDR in her work for over 10 years to aid in her therapeutic approach. She also serves as an approved clinical supervisor in Tennessee. She is the founder of Abundant Hope Therapy in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

    Materials: All registered participants will receive the seminar materials approximately by 3 days before the training. Please note that these materials will not come from Humanitix but rather from katie@abundanthopetherapy.com.

    Venue and Parking: This will be held at Hampton Inn & Suites in the Providence area of Mount Juliet. The address is 5001 Crossings Cr, Mount Juliet, 37122. The meeting room is off of the breakfast area in the lobby, named "Juliet Room". Ample parking is available on-site.

    Food Options: There will be a lunch break between the two trainings and participants are responsible for on their own. Attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch, have it delivered, or go out to eat. There are also dining options within short distances of the venue.

    Refund Policy: Generally, refunds are available until 48 hours prior to the event's start time. Please note that registration fees through the Humanitix platform are non-refundable. For comprehensive details, refer to information available elsewhere on this site.
