ETPC Christmas Function
Event description
ETPC Xmas Function
The Xmas function is on Tuesday, 28 November 2023 (5.15 pm to 7.30 pm) at Vicki Ammundsen Trust Law in the Auckland CBD.
For the last event of the year, we select a non-estate planning theme or topic. This year we are pleased to welcome Peter Macky and our own Greg Moyle to share background on the recent opening of a new museum in northern France commemorating brave Kiwis who served in World War One.
The New Zealand Liberation Museum TE ARAWHATA
The New Zealand Liberation Museum Te Arawhata opened in Le Quesnoy in early October 2023. New Zealand soldiers were at the forefront of the liberation of the town of Le Quesnoy in the last week of World War One. Over one hundred NZ soldiers lost their lives in the battle.
The new museum will raise awareness of New Zealand's participation and contribution in World War One. Greg and Peter will share the story behind the liberation of Le Quesnoy and insights into the planning for the establishment of Te Arawhata.
