After 25 years of DJing in Australia's best and worst clubs, pubs, festivals, warehouses, live streams, weddings, wine bars, listening bars, prisons and more Barney Kato is fucking over it.

Not quite. After just one gig at Tresor Globus in Berlin last year Sydney's 13th oldest DJ / Barney In The Tunneler / Party Chucker / Tantrum Chucker is refusing to fade into obscurity with a job in food and is instead embarking on an ambitious quest to throw yet another series of reluctantly underground parties and play at the parties of others to celebrate his quarter century as an 'entertainer'.

Starting with a sold out show hosting legendary Norwegians Sex Tags in the Sydney Opera House studio Barney's winter/spring/summer 2025 run includes a mix of local heroes, friends, enemies, beloved venues, trashy hovels, fire festivals, fyre festivals international djs, non-international djs, non djs and most importantly YOU (the dancer*)
