Book Launch: Eungedup – A Summer Diary by Giles Watson
Join us for the launch of Eungedup – A Summer Diary, a reflective and evocative new book by Giles Watson, rooted in the south-west landscape and shaped by deep listening to place. The book explores relationship with Country and how it informs experiences of loss, resilience and belonging in a time of ecological change.
The evening will include readings by the author, followed by an interview designed to open up the book’s themes and invite audience questions. A brief musical contribution by Simone Keane, co-written with the author, will gently complement the spoken word. Photographs and short film elements will help bring the landscapes and stories of Eungedup to life.
Books will be available for purchase on the night with a discounts for DEC members.
