Welcome to Euphoric: a queer strip club takeover: KING'S BITDHAY EDITION!
If the world is being forced to celebrate some colonisers birthday, celebrate by spending money on
BIPOC, queer, trans sex workers.
Euphoric is an LGBTQIA+ strip night, led by Queer Sex workers for the queer community. Your desire is healthy. Your curiosity is healthy. Consensual Sex Work is wonderful. You should feel safe to enjoy, explore and celebrate enthusiastic consent.
This is different from other performance nights, strip club shows, and events you may have previously been part of (shout out to Show Us Ya Tips, Corky’s, and Roar, just to name a few, which are existing shows that are already putting in the good work across Australia).
We want the Alphabet Mafia to have a space where we are allowed to be horny. If cis-het white dudes, dripping in the patriarchy, can have the confidence to walk into a space and be comfortable to indulge their desire; we should be able to too! This is not a show where spiciness is the by-product. This night will work just like a "normal" strip club. The only difference is the diversity of dancers & patrons, and its existence PRIMARILY for queer people.
Objectification and disrespect is never ok, but enthusiastic, consensual sex work is healthy, beautiful and completely "normal". We want to provide queer SWers a space where they can work without masking, patrons a space they know they will be safe, and the curious (whether it be performers wanting to respectfully try SW, or those curious to explore their sexuality) a safe space with strong boundaries, all while holding space for education.
This is not a "yassss queen" space, this is not a "but what will you DO for this $5?" space; this is the start of a safe, respectful, trauma informed, queer friendly, kink friendly, sex positive, body inclusive, accessible, anti-phobias, anti-ableist strip night.
