Become an Evac Centre Reservist

Evacuation centres can be a unique and challenging environment to work in.

This one-day training program will develop your knowledge and expertise in establishing, managing and operating evacuation centres.

Who is it for?

Designed for anyone in the community who may want to:

help in times of disaster
work/support/volunteer in an evacuation centre
take the skills learnt back to your community
increase the disaster preparedness and resilience of your community

Registration in evacuation
Human needs and expectations
Communication and reporting
Handover and mobilisation

The training

This training covers Evacuation Centre Management Modules 1, 2 and 3 as listed on the Queensland Disaster Management Training Framework.

Lunch and morning tea provided
Please advise of any dietary requirements upon RSVP
Minimum of 12 and maximum 30 participants
Onsite parking available
