YEARS 5-6 PRESENTS
A NIGHT ON BROADWAY
You’re invited to come along to our Years 5-6 Performance of A Night on Broadway, where each student will be taking part!
Millie, an upbeat and enthusiastic lover of all things Broadway, finds herself in detention after a misunderstanding in music class with Jack, a stubborn, ‘anti-Broadway’ student who believes musicals are corny and overrated. While sulking in detention, Millie stumbles upon an old music book filled with Broadway favourites, and her excitement is contagious.
Jack, unimpressed and ready to zone out, scoffs as Millie flips through the pages. But to their surprise, as she turns the first page, characters come alive and songs are performed right before their eyes—live and in full Broadway style. Slowly but surely, with each performance, Jack is slowly convinced to enjoy and appreciate Broadway.
