Ever After: a Saddle Club {medieval} Winter Prom
Description
HEAR YE, HEAR YE, good citizens of the Inner West and beyond!
By royal decree of the Most Honourable Saddle Club, let it be known throughout the land that on this most auspicious eve, the gates of the great Marrickville Bowlo shall be flung wide open and the dancing shall not cease until the cock doth crow.
Ever After is upon us; a medieval prom most queer, most wry, most extraordinarily line-dancèd. Don thy velvet. Adorn thy head with flowers and/or a sword. Present thyself to the court and prepare to stompe thy feet upon the flagstone floor in righteous and rhythmic fashion.
There shall be dancing of great vigour.
There shall be revelry most becoming.
There shall be looks that wouldst make the court painter weep.
Our famous photobooth, DJs, performers and open floor galore.
"To yearn, or not to yearn — that is not the question.
The question is: dost thou know the grapevine step?"
