Every Bite is a four-week programme designed to help households become more food-resourceful, with the goal of reducing food waste across Aotearoa by 10%. By joining, you'll gain practical tools, resources, and motivation to monitor and minimise your food waste—while also learning preserving techniques to make your kai go further and save money. Less waste, more savings, and delicious results!

What to Expect:

This four-week journey includes two in-person sessions (one at the start and one at the end), plus three easy at-home actions to help you get the most out of your food.

At this special event, we’ll be sharing kai and learning the basics of preserving food to extend its shelf life, save money, and reduce waste.

✅ Discover the fundamentals of preserving from a passionate preserver and foodie Sera—including pickling, freezing, and fermenting

✅ Watch a live food demonstration featuring simple, budget-friendly ways to make food last longer

✅ Enjoy a shared meal made from delicious, rescued ingredients, including the Kimchi that you will see demonstrated!

✅ Connect with others in your community who are eager to learn about reducing food waste

Throughout the four weeks, you'll receive newsletters packed with inspiration and have access to our private Facebook group to share progress, ask questions, and celebrate wins.
