Every Conversation Matters: Building Child Safe Organisations in WA is a collaborative National Child Protection Week 2026 event, hosted by the WACOSS Child Safe Project and the City of Stirling. This half-day forum focuses on shifting conversation to action, bringing together leaders to explore how we can create safer organisations for children and young people. The event will be delivered in a hybrid format, with both in-person and online attendance options available.

Through expert presentations, panel discussions, practical examples and networking opportunities, participants will gain practical insights, resources and meaningful connections to strengthen child-safe leadership, governance and organisational culture.

This event is designed for leaders, staff and volunteers from community service organisations, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), sport and recreation clubs and other community groups/ organisations, out-of-home care providers and early childhood education/ care services.

Whether your organisation is just beginning its child-safe journey or looking to strengthen existing practices, this event will help provide information, insights and connections to help turn commitment and conversation into action.
