Everybody Eats–Celebrating Our Agricultural Heritage at Providence Farm Collective

In 2023, 4 PFC farm families participated in an art project led by photojournalist Brendan Bannon where they created large cyanotype tapestries that serve as pictures of the farmers’ agriculture and food traditions. Join us for a special tour and exhibit at the farm and learn about the 5-month traveling art exhibition of the tapestries, photos, and videos from the project. The tour begins with a “taste” of our farmers’ cultural dishes at our Mesa ya Simulizi.

Tours are rain or shine. All reservations must be made in advance and are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Where do I park?   Please park in the parking lot in front of the red barn. In addition, check-in for your tour inside the PFC Farm Store. The store’s entrance is on the left front side of the building.

Other important information:

1. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes that you do not mind if they get dirty. 

2. You will be outdoors for much of this time. Please wear sunscreen and/or a hat.

3. Please bring a drink or water bottle.

4. Please indicate on your registration if you have any food allergies or restrictions.

5. The tour includes long periods of standing and walking; if this worries you as being prohibitive, please let us know on your registration how we can support your participation.

6. If you are running late or need to cancel, please call the PFC office at 716-473-9338 an hour prior to the tour to let us know.
