In May 2021, a UK Home Office dawn raid triggers one of the most spontaneous and successful acts of civil resistance in recent memory. In Pollokshields, Scotland’s most diverse neighbourhood, hundreds of residents rush to the streets to stop the deportation of their neighbours.

This Sundance-winning film screening in community run vegan cafe will be followed by a Q&A with Aamer Anwar - a political activist and contributor to the film.

The cafe is open all day long - so come and enjoy dinner, doors to screening open from 6:45 pm and the screening starts at 7 pm.
