When seven strangers enter the creaky old elevator of their apartment building, none of them expect to spend the next hour in each other's company. Mackenzie and Michelle, a young couple; Alison, sneaking away from a one night stand; Frank, late for his best friend's wedding; Leah, the building's cleaner; Sunday, struggling to reconnect with her estranged father; and Dennis, the elevator operator, would rather be anywhere but a broken-down elevator. But they have no choice. 

Engaging in a journey of self-discovery, acceptance, connection, Everyday explores the terrifying and awesome pain of being human, and ultimately reconciling the fact that we don’t have to do it alone.

ElevenEleven Theatre is an emerging theatre company affiliated with Union House Theatre. Our mission is to celebrate, uplift, and foster voices on the come-up in the Naarm scene by focusing on raw, intimate, Australian theatre making.
