The Everyday Conversations: being an Active and Ethical Bystander workshop has been organised for Imagined Futures stakeholders. The training empowers participants to take safe, ethical, and confident action when witnessing harmful language and behaviour. Through practical tools and reflection, it explores how everyday language, microaggressions, and stereotypes can reinforce discrimination and create the conditions for more serious forms of violence.

Participants will leave with:

A clearer understanding of their role in creating safe and inclusive workplaces and community groups
Practical tools for intervening safely and effectively
Confidence to act in the moment, even when it feels uncomfortable
An awareness of how gender, race, and power shape who gets heard and who gets harmed

Morning tea is provided.
