Everyday Zen: a mindfulness workshop for presence and joy
Event description
The purpose of this workshop is to move from autopilot into a deeper sense of presence. We can often feel disconnected from presence and joy in this fast-paced world and this is where mindfulness can become a helpful tool.
We will explore, together

~ mindfulness exercises
~ journalling
~ a touch of Buddhist psychology
~ sharing and discussion time
In this workshop we will pay attention to the deeper layers of our daily experience. So that we no longer see our “to-do” lists or ordinary moments of the day as a means to an end but a perfect time to practice presence and joy. Even when life gets busy, stressful or complicated, we have built a mindfulness practice that can guide us through any challenging times.
Benefits of mindfulness include: regulated nervous system, reduced stress and emotional reactivity, increased relaxation and clarity.
You will receive take-home resources, including your own personal journal and 1:1 30 minute follow up zoom call.
Yoga mats, seating and cushions are provided. Afternoon Tea and refreshments are provided.
