Everyone Out in Central Park, Mt Cook
Event description
Get out and explore Central Park with your whānau and friends. Work together and search for secret codes to unlock boxes hidden throughout the area and complete challenges along the way. You will be allowed 2 hours to find and complete as much of the course as you wish.
The course is designed so everyone can take part and be challenged, from toddlers to teenagers, as well as adults of all ages. You will probably get dirty, you might learn something new and you’ll absolutely have fun!
Teams
Teams are made up of 2 to 4 members of any age. If you want to have more people in your team you can purchase an additional person ticket or form a second Team. Each team must have at least one person over 14 yrs. Under 5 year olds are free.
Timetable
2:00pm – 2.30pm - Registration is at Start/finish area next to Central Park Play area. Please allow plenty of time to find a park and walk to registration. At the registration, you collect your team’s event map and scorecard.
2.25pm - Briefing
2.30pm - Start, choose your own course and off you go.
4.30pm - Finish, teams will be allowed two hours to complete as much of the course as they wish. Teams must sign out once they have finished.
What to bring
- Snacks and water bottles for everyone in your team
- A Pen/pencil
- Dress for the weather and practical footwear
- Waterproof layer if it looks like rain
- If your child is the type that likes to get messy/wet you may like to bring a change of clothes and towel.
Parking and Transport
There is free on street parking along Brooklyn Road.
Buses 7 and 17 both stop at Central Park.
Need a free ticket?
Please let us know if the event fee is a barrier for your whānau to attend and we'll give you a code to access a limited number a free Team Tickets.
Cancellations
Limited event day 'sales' available (unless sold out prior). The event will go ahead in light rain. If hazardous or extreme weather is forecast cancellation an announcement will be made at 9am on event day on the Everyone Out Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/everyoneout/ and our Website https://www.everyoneout.co.nz/blog/
